First of all, I would like to say that Lankaran is one of the oldest and largest cities of the southern region of Azerbaijan. Lankaran State University is the only and largest educational and cultural center of the southern region. Lankaran State University is a young university. Nevertheless, by following our "Sustainable Development Strategy", we are gaining new successes year after year. Our education is based on the educational system of leading European universities. Our goal is to increase the quality of education, to form and strengthen the intellectual, cultural, social and scientific-technical potential, at the same time to ensure the competition of students in the fight for money and prestige, and to be able to rapidly develop the possibilities of providing our graduates with employment. We implement a number of educational projects, information services, including pilot projects with many schools in the southern region.
